Hold Thyssen, Inc., a full-service commercial property brokerage firm based in Winter Park, completed a 10-year lease agreement with the owner of Bakery 1908 a successful restaurant concept new to the area and just ranked among Yelp’s “Top Places to Eat in Orlando.”

Bakery 1908, a successful chain with more than 21 restaurant and food service establishments across the country recently opened in the former Black Angus Restaurant at 12399 SR 535. 

Martin Forster CCIM, Senior Director at Hold-Thyssen and listing agent for the property who represented the landlord, said the 6,000 square foot restaurant space is in a winning location just north of Hotel Plaza Drive, a mile-and-a-half to Disney Springs and 32 major hotels hosting some five million guests per year. 

“As soon as we launched this listing we were deluged with interest from all types of restaurant groups across the nation, and making the right choice from among many letters of intent was quite a challenge,” said Forster.   

“We love Bakery 1908’s energy and enthusiasm,” said Landlord M. Nadeem Battla who is also president of World Food Trucks, the largest permanent food truck park in America, “And we are excited to see how well Bakery 1908 does at this location.”

“With the combination of delicious baked goods, coffees and pastries available all day, plus our range of highly popular dim sum and noodle dishes for lunch and dinner, we provide wonderful food offerings for everyone,” said John Zhao, president of YH Foods, owner of Bakery 1908. “We plan to make this our flagship store.” Alain Tang, of America Real Estate Company, LLC represented the tenant in the transaction
