Hold-Thyssen Boosts Occupancy, Repositions The Laurel Building in Altamonte Springs With Two New Long-Term Leases

Hold Thyssen, Inc., a full-service commercial property firm based in Winter Park, completed two long-term lease agreements for office suites at The Laurel Building, 498 Palm Springs Drive. The two leases contributed to the lease-up and repositioning of the well-located building at the northeast corner of the Altamonte Springs Mall property.
Martin Forster CCIM, senior director at Hold-Thyssen, negotiated both transactions representing the landlord Foley Properties, LLC.
Contemporary Mortgage Services, Inc., a long-established residential mortgage brokerage based in the Laurel Building, decided to downsize from the 2,252 square foot suite they occupied for 37 years and move down the hall into a 1,201 square foot suite that was better suited for their current needs, with most of their associates now working mainly from home.
At the same time Proval Technologies Inc., nearing expiration of its six-year lease of 839 square feet in the Laurel Building, opted for the 2,252 square feet vacated by Contemporary Mortgage. The technology firm was able to move into the larger space to accommodate its future growth without leaving the property.
