Richard Fisher – Vice President of Investor Services
Richard Fisher has been active in the US commercial real estate market since arriving in Florida in 1987 from Calgary, Canada. With more than 45 years of real estate experience, he has closed over $1.5 billion in commercial property transactions. Richard’s extensive experience and expertise in the sale of investment properties, asset disposition, corporate sale leasebacks and 1031 tax exchange transactions has allowed him to effectively evaluate real estate investment options and structure transactions on behalf of his client’s.
Richard joined Hold Thyssen, Inc. in 2001 and serves as Vice President of Investor Services with a primary focus on advising a select group of private offshore investors on how to manage and safeguard their US investments which are located through out the eastern and southern United States. His in-depth understanding of dynamic business environments and the ability to anticipate and respond to changing marketing conditions has allowed him to consistently deliver the highest level of service to his clients that has maximized the value and operating performance of their real estate portfolios.
Prior to joining Hold Thyssen, Inc., Mr. Fisher served as Vice-President Brokerage in the Tampa Florida office of Pinnacle Realty Management one of the largest third-party residential fee management companies in the United States. In addition, he has worked in a senior brokerage capacity with the Trammell Crow Company and Colliers International.
Richard is a member and past President of the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors (FGCAR), which is composed of the top commercial brokers in the Greater Tampa Bay area. He is a past Director of the Florida Realtor’s Association and has won numerous Top Broker awards from his peers within the industry.
Richard studied Business Administration at the University of Alberta, Canada and has earned the professional designation of Certified Management Accountant – CMA, from the Society of Management Accountants of Canada.
